Introduction

I’ve wanted to start blogging for a long time now. I just never really knew where to start — I still don’t think I’m quite sure where to start, actually. But something I’ve learned in my seventeen years of life is to dive right in even when you might feel a little unsure.

My name is Ava. I’m seventeen and am from the state of Ohio. I like dogs, Taylor Swift, and warm weather. I’ve been told I have an aptitude for writing and I quite enjoy it. So, here I am on a random Saturday afternoon deciding to finally start the blog I’ve been considering creating. I’m not exactly sure what I’m going to write about, or if anyone will read it, but I think I should try this out. I’m a little nervous, but I think this could be an interesting journey.

I’m not exactly an expert at anything, so I think I might just use this blog as a documentation of my self growth as I move through my formative years. And, who knows, maybe somebody else might enjoy watching as I grow too.
